Job summary

Amazon Web Services (AWS) seeks a Developer Experience Engineer to shape agent-driven development on AWS. You will build with agents across AWS services, document what works, and produce technical resources developers rely on.

You will partner with service teams to advocate for changes and deliver technical content, blogs, sample code, tutorials, and guidance to improve the developer experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent, or experience in software development
• Experience writing for developer and technical audiences: blog, product documentation, technical information
• 4+ years of building production software experience
• Knowledge of programming or other scripting languages and coding skills (C/C++/C#, Node.JS, Java, Python, PHP, Ruby)
• Hands-on experience with AI coding assistants in real development workflows

Responsibilities

• Build with agents across AWS services, identify friction, and document findings
• Turn findings into blog posts, sample code, tutorials, and feedback to product teams
• Collaborate with developer advocates and engineers across the org to raise the bar on agentic content and standards
