Job summary

Pinkerton is hiring a Security Officer in Arlington, VA to deliver concierge-level security at client locations and events. The role includes de-escalation, detailed incident reporting, and performing investigations with access control and CCTV monitoring.

You will work with a responsive team to support emergency planning and threat monitoring while accommodating travel and varied shifts. Qualified applicants have a high school diploma or GED and Virginia DCJS Unarmed Security Officer license,

• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Computer knowledge; Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Provide the client with concierge-level security at the client location and/or events.
• Deescalate tense situations or individuals that may arise.
• Write detailed incident reports following any incident, occurrence, or variance that warrants documentation.
• Conduct quality investigations and complete investigative reports.
• Oversee external campus drop off/pick-ups and conduct perimeter patrols, as assigned.
• Provide response services related to emergency and crisis planning, high risk terminations, workforce disruptions, natural disaster, civil unrest, and threat monitoring.
• Transport the client to and from company location and/or events, as assigned.
• Secure the client’s residential perimeter and review CCTV, manage access controls, and respond to alarms, as assigned.
• Identify and elevate equipment deficiencies/failures.
• All other duties, as assigned.
