Job summary

Pinkerton seeks an armed security agent to provide concierge-level security at client sites and events. The role includes deescalation, incident reporting, and performing investigations with attention to detail.

Responsibilities cover campus access control, perimeter patrols, CCTV review, alarms, and response to emergencies. 5+ years armed security experience and an OPOTA/CCW are expected.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required with law enforcement or military background preferred.
• Armed security experience 5+ years preferred.
• OPOTA/Firearm endorsement and CCW required.
• Must pass Pinkerton licensing process and related checks.

Responsibilities

• Provide concierge-level security at client locations and events.
• Deescalate tense situations and document incidents with detailed reports.
• Conduct investigations and complete investigative reports.
• Oversee campus drop-offs, perimeter patrols and access control.
• Support emergency planning, crisis response and threat monitoring.
• Transport clients to/from locations or events as needed.
• Review CCTV and alarms; identify equipment issues.
• Perform other assigned duties.

The Agent may perform a variety of responsibilities based on the assignment to include concierge-level, residential, campus security, event security, response services, basic driving, and/or investigations.

Responsibilities

Represent Pinkerton's core values of integrity, vigilance, and excellence.Provide the client with concierge-level security at the client location and/or events.Deescalate tense situations or individuals that may arise.Write detailed incident reports following any incident, occurrence, or variance that warrants documentation.Conduct quality investigations and complete investigative reports.Oversee external campus drop off/pick-ups and conduct perimeter patrols, as assigned.Provide response services related to emergency and crisis planning, high risk terminations, workforce disruptions, natural disaster, civil unrest, and threat monitoring.Transport the client to and from company location and/or events, as assigned. Secure the client's residential perimeter and review CCTV, manage access controls, and respond to alarms, as assigned.Identify and elevate equipment deficiencies/failures.All other duties, as assigned.

Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED with law enforcement, military, and/or 5+ years of armed security experience. An Armed OPOTA, Firearm-Bearer Endorsement, and CCW are required. This position requires completion of Pinkerton's licensing process which will require additional training and may include verification of required licenses and affiliation to the appropriate Pinkerton entity.

• Access control systems, CCTV, and alarm monitoring experience.

• Able to interact effectively at all levels and across diverse cultures.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Computer knowledge; Microsoft Office.
• Prior military or law enforcement experience is preferred.
