Job summary

Pinkerton seeks a Security Agent to deliver concierge-level security at client sites and events. You will de-escalate incidents, document with thorough incident reports, and conduct investigations as needed. You’ll monitor access controls and CCTV to safeguard premises and people.

The role requires a High School Diploma or GED and appropriate security licenses. Shifts are Friday through Sunday from 5 PM to 5 AM, with travel as required. Pinkerton is an equal opportunity employer.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED with law enforcement, military, and/or security experience.
• A current WA Unarmed and Armed Guard license, valid WA CPL, or a current HR218/LEOSA with a current annual firearm qualification card, or reciprocal out-of-state CCW.
• This position requires completion of Pinkerton's licensing process and may include verification of licenses and affiliation.

The Agent may perform a variety of responsibilities based on the assignment to include concierge-level, residential, campus security, event security, response services, basic driving, and/or investigations. The schedule for this position will be Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, from 5 PM to 5 AM.

Responsibilities

• Represent Pinkerton’s core values of integrity, vigilance, and excellence.
• Provide the client with concierge-level security at the client location and/or events.
• Deescalate tense situations or individuals that may arise.
• Write detailed incident reports following any incident, occurrence, or variance that warrants documentation.
• Conduct quality investigations and complete investigative reports.
• Oversee external campus drop off/pick-ups and conduct perimeter patrols, as assigned.
• Provide response services related to emergency and crisis planning, high risk terminations, workforce disruptions, natural disaster, civil unrest, and threat monitoring.
• Transport the client to and from company location and/or events, as assigned.
• Secure the client’s residential perimeter and review CCTV, manage access controls, and respond to alarms, as assigned.
• Identify and elevate equipment deficiencies/failures.
• All other duties, as assigned.

Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED with law enforcement, military, and/or security experience. A current WA Unarmed and Armed Guard license, valid WA CPL, or a current and valid HR218/LEOSA with a current annual firearm qualification card, or qualifying reciprocal out of state CCW required. This position requires completion of Pinkerton's licensing process which will require additional training and may include verification of required licenses and affiliation to the appropriate Pinkerton entity.

• Concierge-level customer service knowledge.
• Able to complete thorough and accurate investigations and reports.
• Access control systems, CCTV, and alarm monitoring experience.
• Problem resolution skills.
• Able to interact effectively at all levels and across diverse cultures.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Computer knowledge; Microsoft Office.
