Job summary

Pinkerton is seeking a Denver-based security Agent to provide concierge-level security at client sites and events, deescalate incidents, and perform investigations.

The role requires a Denver Armed Security License and Concealed Handgun Permit, plus 3+ years in security; successful candidates will complete Pinkerton’s licensing process and work in a dynamic, safety-focused environment. Travel may be required, with emphasis on reporting and integrity.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED with law enforcement, military, and/or 3+ years of security experience.
• Denver Armed Security License and Concealed Handgun Permit required.
• Complete Pinkerton licensing process which will require additional training and may include verification of licenses and affiliation to the appropriate Pinkerton entity.

Responsibilities

• Provide concierge-level security at the client location and/or events.
• Deescalate tense situations or individuals that may arise.
• Write detailed incident reports following any incident, occurrence, or variance that warrants documentation.
• Conduct quality investigations and complete investigative reports.
• Oversee external campus drop off/pickups and conduct perimeter patrols, as assigned.
• Provide response services related to emergency and crisis planning, high risk terminations, workforce disruptions, natural disaster, civil unrest, and threat monitoring.
• Transport the client to and from company location and/or events, as assigned.
• Secure the client’s residential perimeter and review CCTV, manage access controls, and respond to alarms, as assigned.
• Identify and escape equipment deficiencies/failures.
• All other duties, as assigned.

• Concierge-level customer service knowledge.
• Able to complete thorough and accurate investigations and reports.
• Access control systems, CCTV, and alarm monitoring experience.
• Problem resolution skills.
• Able to interact effectively at all levels and across diverse cultures.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Computer knowledge; Microsoft Office.
• Prior military or law enforcement experience preferred.
