The Atlantic District, based in Owings Mills, Maryland, seeks a General Agency Principal to bridge strategic vision and daily wins. You will shape culture, mentor producers, and build relationships with carriers and brokers, driving growth and service excellence across the agency.

Ideal candidates bring proven leadership in insurance distribution, a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience, and a passion for growing a high-performing team within the independent broker channel.

Qualifications

• Proven leadership experience in an agency or distribution team.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in business, finance, or a related field.
• Strong ability to mentor, coach, and grow a sales team.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations and strategic direction of the agency.
• Mentor and support a growing team of producers to reach milestones.
• Build partnerships with carriers and local brokerages.
• Champion a collaborative, transparent office culture.
• Analyze sales metrics and market trends to identify expansion opportunities in Maryland.
• Serve as a main contact for high-level client inquiries with excellence.
