Job summary

Beardsley Farmers Elevator in Minnesota seeks seasonal workers to load, unload and store harvested crops from September through December. You will help keep grain bins, grounds and facilities clean and organized.

Responsibilities include cleaning, sweeping and maintaining bins, grounds, and equipment; servicing and repairing equipment after harvest and ensuring safety standards are followed. A driver's license within 30 days and ability to lift 100 lbs are required.

Qualifications

• Must have 3 months experience in loading/unloading or similar.
• Must be able to obtain a driver’s license within 30 days of hire.
• Ability to lift 100 lbs repeatedly.

Responsibilities

• Load, unload and store harvested crops from September through December.
• Clean, sweep and maintain all grain bins and grounds.
• Maintain, service and repair equipment and structures after harvest.

ADDITIONAL HELP IS NEEDED DURING SEPTEMBER THROUGH DECEMBER TO ASSIST IN THE LOADING, UNLOADING AND STORING OF ALL HARVESTED CROPS. CLEAN, SWEEP AND MAINTAIN ALL GRAIN BINS AND GROUNDS. MAINTAIN, SERVICE AND REPAIR ALL EQUIPMENT AND STRUCTURES AFTER HARVEST IS COMPLETED.

ABILITY TO OBTAIN DRIVERS LICENSE WITHIN 30 DAYS OF HIRE AND LIFT 100LBS REPEATEDLY.

• Housing: Employer-provided (including mobile or range)
• Meals: EMPLOYER WILL PROVIDE FREE COOKING FACILITIES AND A FULLY FURNISHED KITCHEN.
• TRANSPORTATION WILL BE PROVIDED NO LESS THAN ONCE PER WEEK TO THE NEAREST TOWN FOR GROCERIES, BANKING AND SUPPLIES. 4 PASSENGER, 4 DOOR FARM INSURED VEHICLES PROVIDED AT NO CHARGE TO THE WORKERS. (INSURANCE CARD UPON AVAILABLE UPON REQUEST)
