Job summary

D & M Cattle Inc is seeking a hands-on farm worker to harvest and haul crops, operate tractors for spraying and silage cutting, and assist with cattle-related tasks. The role requires physical fitness and the ability to lift up to 100 lbs, with a driver’s license obtainable within 30 days.

Housing and meals provided, along with insured vehicle transport to the farm site and for errands. Experience is welcomed, and random post-hire drug testing may occur as part of safety policies.

Qualifications

• 3 months of farming or farm equipment experience.
• Ability to obtain driver's license within 30 days of hire.
• Ability to lift up to 100 lbs repeatedly.

Responsibilities

• Harvest and haul crops using farming equipment.
• Run tractors to spray crops and operate a silage cutter.
• Assist with cattle duties such as filling barns, feeding and vaccinating.
• General maintenance and sanitizing of plant, fencing and equipment.

SET, OPERATE AND MAINTAIN ALL FARMING EQUIPMENT TO HARVEST AND HAUL CROPS. RUN

TRACTORS TO SPRAY CROPS AND RUN SILAGE CUTTER. ASSIST WITH ALL CATTLE DUTIES SUCH AS FILLING BARNS, FEEDING AND VACCINATING. GENERAL MAINTENANCE AND SANITIZING OF PLANT, FENCING AND EQUIPMENT.

Housing: Employer-provided (including mobile or range)

Meals: EMPLOYER WILL PROVIDE FREE COOKING FACILITIES AND A FULLY FURNISHED

KITCHEN.

INSURED VEHICLE TRANSPORTATION WITH 4 PERSON CAPACITY, WILL BE PROVIDED

AT NO COST TO THE WORKERS, FOR TRANSPORTATION TO AND FROM THE WORK

SITE AND FOR ALL GROCERIES, BANKING AND PERSONAL ERRANDS.
