Job summary

Boys & Girls Clubs of Utah County is seeking enthusiastic Youth Development Professionals to join our afterschool team for the 2026-2027 school year. This part-time, hourly role offers meaningful afternoon hours in a safe, inclusive environment.

You will mentor youth ages 5-18, build positive relationships, facilitate engaging activities, and support youth development while collaborating with a welcoming team.

Qualifications

• Previous experience working with youth (ages 5-12 or 13-18) in educational, recreational, or development settings preferred.
• Reliable team player with strong communication skills and a growth mindset.
• Ability to stay actively engaged with youth indoors and outdoors in varying weather.

Responsibilities

• Youth Engagement: Build positive relationships with youth through mentorship, sports, recess, and recreation.
• Social & Emotional Support: Model positive communication, empathy, and conflict resolution.
• Program Leadership: Facilitate engaging lessons, track activities, and maintain welcoming spaces.
• Professional Growth: Participate in paid staff meetings and development trainings.
