Job summary

Boys & Girls Clubs Of Annapolis & Anne Arundel County is seeking a Youth Development Professional to run afterschool programs in Severn, MD. This part-time, non-exempt role supports youth in a safe environment, delivers activities, and coordinates with the Club Director.

Typical shifts are Monday through Friday 2:00pm–7:00pm, with summer hours 8:00am–4:00pm. Pay ranges from $15 to $17 per hour, with opportunities for advancement.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• Experience working with children.
• Knowledge of youth development.
• Valid State Driver’s License (If Applicable)

Responsibilities

• Create an environment that facilitates youth development outcomes and guides members.
• Plan and implement a range of program services and activities for drop-in members and visitors.
• Ensure a healthy, safe environment and maintain facilities and supplies.
• Provide a welcoming atmosphere and build respectful relationships with participants.
• Register new members and coordinate club orientation processes.
• Monitor programs and collect data to demonstrate goals and objectives.
