Boys and Girls Club Whittier / Pico Rivera is seeking an After School Driver to transport youths on planned routes and on-demand services. The role emphasizes safety, adherence to schedules, and professional interaction with families and staff.

Applicants should have at least a high school diploma, a Class C license, and CPR/First Aid certification. The position is part-time, approximately 10 hours per week, with a focus on reliable, responsible service in a club environment.

Competenze

High school diploma or equivalent required.
48 college credits or pass equivalency exam required.
1+ years working with children/youth in educational settings preferred.
1 year of driving experience with a Class C license required.
California driver’s license required.

Mansioni

Safely transports passengers in vans on assigned routes and/or on demand service.
Maintain safety and well-being of passengers during transportation.
Operate a two-way radio to communicate with staff.
Obey traffic laws and follow operating procedures.
Conduct vehicle inspections before, during, and after trips.
Report mechanical problems and fuel/clean vehicle as needed.
Maintain accurate records and prepare required reports.
Prepare accident and incident reports.
Provide effective customer relations and handle complaints.
