Job summary

The Program Coordinator role in Horry County oversees afterschool and summer camps and other childcare programming within the Parks and Recreation Department. The position requires organizing, planning, coordinating, and evaluating programs to meet citizens' needs.

• Inspects facilities and maintains safety compliance.
• Designs communications (flyers, banners) for public understanding.
• May work after hours and perform light custodial tasks as needed.
• Keeps informed of changes in operation philosophies and county policies.
