Job summary

Workstream is seeking an After School Site Coordinator in Catoosa County, North Georgia to lead daily activities and classroom direction, implementing the program curriculum across Tiger Creek, Saddle Ridge, Battlefield, and Westside Elementary.

The role involves supervising children, conducting parent conferences, maintaining records, and promoting YMCA values of honesty, respect, responsibility and caring; hours are 1:45pm–6pm, Monday through Friday when school is in session.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• Prior experience working with children in a developmental setting & with diverse populations preferred.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement daily lesson/activity plans within established guidelines.
• Supervise children, classroom, and all activities.
• Conduct parent conferences and maintain positive relationships.
• Maintain required program records.
• Attend and participate in family nights, program activities, staff meetings, and staff training.

Skills

Experience with children

Physical ability to lift 50 pounds

Education

High school diploma or equivalent

One year of college preferred
