Job summary

YMCA of Walker County, Georgia is seeking an After School Site Coordinator to provide direction for the program and classrooms and to implement the curriculum and activities.

This part-time role runs 1:45pm–6pm, Monday through Friday when school is in session. Qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent (one year of college preferred), 21+ years old, and experience with children.

Qualifications

• Experience working with children in a developmental setting preferred.
• Ability to lead and participate in activities in various settings and temperatures.
• Must be 21 years or older.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement daily lesson/activity plans within established guidelines.
• Supervise children, classroom, and all activities.
• Conduct parent conferences and maintain positive relationships.
• Maintain required program records.
• Attend and participate in family nights, program activities, staff meetings, and staff training.
