Job summary

City Year seeks an After School Manager to oversee and enhance afterschool programming across 14 partner schools in Philadelphia and Norristown. This role provides strategic oversight, supports staff, and ensures high-quality program delivery while maintaining compliance with grant requirements.

Position is part-time (25 hours/week), in-person, grant-funded through April 2029, with occasional evening hours. Start date anticipated September/October 2026.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 2-4+ years of experience in child development, education, social services, or comparable experience.
• Authorized documentation to work in the United States of America.

Responsibilities

• Lead the implementation of afterschool programming across 14 partner schools.
• Align afterschool strategy with organizational priorities and grant requirements.
• Monitor program quality and ensure consistency of implementation across sites.
• Collaborate with team members for program development and implementation.
• Develops and empowers team members through development plans, feedback, and coaching.
