Job summary

City Year Philadelphia is seeking an After School Manager to lead afterschool programming across partner schools in Philadelphia and Norristown. You will provide strategic oversight, support implementation, and drive continuous quality improvement to ensure high-quality delivery and strong partnerships.

The role supervises two grant-funded, part-time staff, requires five days in person, and uses data to improve student outcomes with start in September/October 2026; grant funding through April

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 2-4+ years of experience in child development, education, social services, or comparable experience.
• Authorized to work in the United States.
• Criminal background clearance to work with school-age children.

Responsibilities

• Lead the implementation of afterschool programming across 14 partner schools.
• Align afterschool strategy with grants and school needs.
• Monitor program quality and consistency across sites.
• Supervise two Afterschool Coordinators and develop staff.
