Job summary

Jeffco Public Schools in Jefferson County, Colorado, invites applications for the Before & After School Program Leader at Prospect Valley Elementary. This hourly position supports the School Age Enrichment Programs, with shifts generally Monday–Friday 2:15 p.m.

Qualifications

Must have three (3) months of full time or equivalent part-time satisfactory and verifiable experience with school-age children.
Must be at least 18 years of age and demonstrate an ability to work with children.
High school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

Provide assistance to the Director in all aspects of managing the School Age Enrichment Programs.
Assist Program Director in managing and maintaining daily operations of Before and After School Program.
Practice active supervision and whole area awareness to ensure safety of children.
Assist with planning, preparation and implementation of program activities.
Engage students in enrichment activities, games, field trips, and homework.
Ensure appropriate staff-to-child ratio as per District and State guidelines.
