Job summary

Urbana School District #116 is seeking 21st CCLC After School Programming Support Staff at Dr. Preston Williams, Jr. Elementary School for September 8, 2026 – May 20, 2027. This stipend position reports to teachers and coordinators and focuses on supporting after-school programming and student engagement.

Responsibilities include reteaching, small-group activities, behavior support, de-escalation, attendance tasks, and assisting with program logistics; internal applicants only.

Qualifications

• Associate’s Degree or 60 hours of college credit required.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Answer questions and reteach information to students in the program.
• Participate actively in the program and complete all tasks.
• Maintain positive relationships with students and staff in the program.
• Ask for guidance from teachers/coordinator when needed.
• Monitor and supervise students in assigned areas.
• Support positive behavior approaches and use de-escalation strategies.
