Job summary

Think Together is seeking a Substitute Program Leader to work part-time at various sites region-wide. You will supervise in-person groups of students, provide academic enrichment, and model positive behavior in alignment with CDC guidelines.

Ability to lead, coach, and communicate effectively is essential for creating a safe and nurturing learning environment. Responsibilities include homework help, supervising 20–25 students, snack duties, and coordinating with site staff.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• 48 semester/60 quarter units and/or pass a pre-employment test.
• Ability to speak and write Standard English in a public-school setting.
• Must pass Live Scan background check.
• Provide negative TB test within last 3 years.
• At least six months experience working with a group of 10+ students.
• Available at least 3 days a week (Mon-Fri).
• Program start/end times roughly 12:00 PM–6:00 PM.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Spanish language ability is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead a group of 20-25 students in-person, upholding safety and behavior standards.
• Provide homework help and academic enrichment.
• Assist with snack prep, serving and cleanup.
• Set up, break down and maintain clean site conditions.
• Maintains student safety by checking sign-in/out and roll.
