Job summary

Think Together is seeking a Part-Time Substitute Program Leader in California to support in-person learning at multiple sites. You will lead a group of students, model positive behavior, and maintain a safe, engaging classroom environment aligned with Think Together’s core agreements.

You’ll provide homework help, enrichment activities, and coordinate with Site Program Manager, teachers, and parents as appropriate.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• District-specific units or pass a pre-employment test.
• Ability to speak and write Standard English in a public-school setting.
• Live Scan background check required.
• Negative TB test within the last 3 years.
• At least six months experience with 10+ students in a group.
• Available 5 days a week (Mon-Fri).
• Hours roughly 12:00 PM–6:00 PM; may vary.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Bi-literate in Spanish preferred for English learners.

Responsibilities

• Lead a group of students in-person with high behavior and safety standards.
• Create an engaging environment fostering belonging.
• Support students in positive behavior choices and discipline when needed.
• Identify student needs and communicate with Site Program Manager, teachers, and parents.
• Participate in staff development.
