Job summary

Think Together is seeking Substitute Program Leaders for in-person, part-time roles across districts and school sites in California. You will lead a group of students, provide homework help, and support safety and positive behavior in a structured environment.

Responsibilities include classroom management, student supervision, snack support, and ongoing site maintenance. English proficiency, background check, and availability M-F are required; Spanish ability is a plus.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• District-specific: 48 semester/60 quarter units and/or pass a pre-employment test.
• Ability to speak and write Standard English in a public-school setting.
• Must pass Live Scan (criminal background check via fingerprinting).
• Provide negative TB Test dated within the last 3 years.
• Available at 5 days a week (Mon-Fri).
• Bi-literate (Spanish preferred).

Responsibilities

• Lead a group of students in an in-person setting, upholding safety and behavior standards by the Think Together four core agreements: Be safe, Be respectful, Be responsible, Have fun.
• Provide homework assistance and academic enrichment.
• Assist in snack preparation, serving and cleanup.
• Maintain classroom setup and ongoing maintenance to keep site clean and orderly.
• Maintain student safety by taking roll and reviewing sign-in/sign-outs.
