Job summary

Armed Services YMCA is seeking a Program Attendant to supervise and guide children in the afterschool program. You will lead activities, ensure safety, and engage with families in a caring, respectful manner.

The role is part-time (20-25 hrs/week) with potential for additional hours, Monday‑Friday. Schedule roughly 6:30A‑8:30A and 2:30P‑6:00P, with possible before-school opportunities. Must hold CPR/First Aid/child abuse prevention certs; training provided.

Qualifications

• Must be certified in CPR, First Aid, and Child Abuse Prevention; training provided if hired.
• Ability to lead and supervise children in a childcare setting.
• Able to relate well to children with respect and patience.
• Willing to work occasional hours outside regular schedule.
• Good driving record.

Responsibilities

• Supervise groups during activities and free time.
