Job summary

The Northeast Bronx YMCA is seeking a Site Coordinator under the supervision of the Youth & Family Director to lead the Community School Program at PS111. The Site Coordinator will provide leadership, oversight and support to ensure quality program execution and a safe, positive environment for school-age children.

Responsibilities include ensuring health, safety and wellbeing of participants, managing day-to-day operations of Y Afterschool and Y Core programs, and maintaining accurate

Qualifications

• College degree in a related field is required.
• 1–2 years of experience working with youth is required.
• CPR, First Aid, or RTE certifications preferred.
• Strong interpersonal skills and leadership abilities; comfortable working with diverse youth and adults.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership, oversight and support for the Community School Program at PS111.
• Ensure health, safety and wellbeing of children; supervise activities and staff.
• Manage day-to-day operations of the Y Afterschool and Y Core programs.
• Maintain accurate program documentation (incident reports, accident reports, behavior reports, attendance & sign-in/sign-out sheets, licensing requirements).
