Job summary

East Nashville Hope Exchange is seeking part‑time tutors to support literacy intervention for students in after‑school and school year programs.

Currently a 3rd or 4th year college student majoring in Elementary Education, Secondary Education, or Special Education is encouraged to apply. Commitment is Monday–Thursday, with a monthly parent meeting and a background check. Transportation to tutoring sites is required.

• Genuine passion for children’s literacy and education
• Willingness to commit to a Monday–Thursday tutoring schedule for the full school year
• Background check willingness and reliable transportation to tutoring sites

Responsibilities

• Hire 4 rising educators to support literacy intervention for students
• Deliver tutoring in one‑on‑one or small group settings
• Support students to read on or above grade level
• Attend monthly parent engagement meetings
