Job summary

Right At School is seeking an Educator to support after-school, in-school, and break camp programs in California. The role focuses on delivering engaging curricula, fostering safe environments, and guiding students through learning activities aligned with school schedules.

Ideal candidates bring customer service strengths, teamwork, and at least 6 months of experience with children. On-site hours run mornings and afternoons, with benefits including childcare and professional development

Qualifications

• Outstanding customer service and relationship-building skills.
• Works well in a team environment.
• At least 6 months of experience working with children under 13 in a group setting.
• Must be 18 years or older with a Highschool diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to lift 25lbs.
• Drive to inspire a love for learning and commitment to healthy living.
• Must meet state Live Scan fingerprint, FA/CPR, Mandated Reporter training, and Health Certificate with TB test requirements.

Responsibilities

• Organize program materials for lessons and activities, and document attendance and incidents.
• Deliver our dynamic daily curriculum to engage children in learning and character-building.
• Model positive guidance and classroom management to ensure safety and focused homework help.
• Communicate effectively with children, parents, staff, and school personnel.
• Meet with the Program Manager regularly for progress and accountability; support play and fitness activities.
