Job summary

Partnership with Children in New York City is seeking Part‑Time Content Specialists to develop and manage afterschool curricula aligned with DYCD guidelines. You will work with the Site Director and staff to plan activities in literacy, STEM, and other subjects, ensuring inclusive, age-appropriate learning.

This fully in-person role requires a Bachelor's (Master’s preferred) and at least one year of supervisory experience, with strong instructional and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree required; Master’s preferred.
• At least one year of supervisory/oversight experience.
• Experience supporting literacy or STEM instruction preferred.
• Knowledge of NYC DOE curriculum; DYCD COMPASS/SONYC standards a plus.
• Strong instructional, communication, and classroom management skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement curricula, lesson plans, and enrichment activities aligned with DYCD guidelines.
• Create project‑based learning experiences in literacy, STEM, math, and other academic areas.
• Ensure activities are differentiated, inclusive, and culturally responsive.
• Support staff to integrate literacy, numeracy, and social‑emotional learning into daily activities.
• Provide guidance, modeling, and support to staff on instructional strategies.
• Conduct classroom observations and offer constructive feedback to improve teaching quality.
