Job summary

REAch2 Academy Trust is seeking an After School Club Manager at Chigwell Primary Academy to lead our extended provision from January 2027. The role is 13.45 hours per week during term time plus 5 INSET days, with responsibilities including guiding the provision team, ensuring children's safety, and delivering engaging activities for primary-aged children.

You will work closely with parents and staff, set up age-appropriate activities, and provide feedback on children's time at the club.

Qualifications

• Experience leading afterschool/extended provision
• Strong understanding of child safeguarding procedures
• Ability to develop a varied activity programme for primary children
• Excellent organisational and administrative skills
• Knowledge of SEN needs and inclusive practice
• Ability to communicate professionally with parents and staff
• Commitment to high standards of safety and child welfare

Responsibilities

• Lead the extended provision team and ensure high-quality delivery
• Safely supervise children and engage them through play and conversation
• Set up activities and plan a varied, age-appropriate programme
• Meet and greet parents and provide feedback on their child’s time at the club
• Work with school staff to integrate provision with the school day
• Collaborate with stakeholders to maintain safeguarding and welfare standards
