Boys & Girls Club of Worcester – Plumley Village is seeking a part-time School Age Child Care Lead Staff to inspire and supervise children ages 5–13 in after-school programs. The role emphasizes safety, creativity, and positive engagement in a dynamic, community-focused setting.

Qualifications

• EEC age requirement: at least 21 years old
• Bachelor's or Associate Degree with experience in school-age care; OR
• High School Diploma with experience; OR
• Nine months of school-age childcare experience with supervision

Responsibilities

• Plan, implement, and evaluate age-appropriate after-school activities
• Create a positive, engaging environment for 5–13 year olds
• Support children's social, emotional, and academic development
• Ensure compliance with EEC regulations and Club policies
• Provide homework help and academic support when needed
• Utilize technology and remote learning tools for activities
• Communicate with parents, caregivers, and staff
• Assist with events and club initiatives
• Light cleaning and space organization
• Contribute to overall Club success
