Boys & Girls Clubs of Metro Atlanta is seeking an Arts Instructor to plan, organize, promote, implement, and evaluate a diversified arts program for youth in McDonough, GA. The role emphasizes fostering a creative, safe environment and engaging members in arts activities.

The instructor will prepare weekly plans, supervise volunteers, maintain records, and collaborate with staff and visiting artists to support youth development and community engagement.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED.
• Three years experience working with youth and arts/crafts.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to motivate youth and manage behavior.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, promote, implement and evaluate a diversified arts program.
• Prepare Youth for Success by promoting participation in daily arts programs and events.
• Orient new members to the arts program, safety rules and club guidelines.
• Provide guidance and role modeling to members.
• Monitor and evaluate programs for safety and quality, and maintain attendance records.
• Supervise volunteers and program assistants; participate in staff meetings.
• Maintain an attractive, organized program area and assist with supplies and facility needs.

Education

High School diploma or GED

Three years youth/arts experience
