Job summary

Social Circle ABA in New Jersey is seeking an After School Registered Behavior Technician (RBT)/BT-ABA Therapist to work with our afternoon therapy team in-home, delivering evidence-based behavioral therapy to individuals with autism spectrum disorder (ASD).

You will implement intervention plans under BCBA supervision, collect data, and collaborate with the team to promote skill development and positive behavior change in a supportive, client-centered environment.

Qualifications

• BT experience required.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Ability to follow directions and implement behavior plans accurately.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Patience and compassion when working with individuals with ASD.
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
• Basic computer skills for data collection and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Implement behavior intervention plans under the supervision of a BCBA.
• Provide direct one-on-one therapy to individuals with ASD.
• Collect and record data on client progress and behavior.
• Assist with the development and implementation of individualized treatment plans.
• Collaborate with the BCBA and other team members to ensure consistency and effectiveness of interventions.
• Use positive reinforcement techniques to promote skill acquisition and behavior change.
• Conduct preference assessments and assist with functional behavior assessments.
