Job summary

Amsted Rail-Griffin Wheel in Groveport is seeking an Afternoon Production Supervisor to oversee melting and casting operations, mold cleaning/preparation and equipment maintenance. You will plan and schedule work to meet production goals while supervising staff and upholding safety and housekeeping standards.

The ideal candidate will have at least two years of manufacturing experience, with supervisory preferred, and a high school diploma or equivalent.

Qualifications

• High school education or equivalent required; additional training preferred.
• Minimum of two years manufacturing experience; supervisory experience preferred.
• Ability to plan, organize and schedule work to minimize production interruptions and meet objectives.
• Maintain sound employee relations, safety, and housekeeping standards.

Responsibilities

• Oversee melting and casting production, including mold cleaning/preparation and equipment maintenance.
• Plan, organize and schedule work to minimize production interruptions and meet department objectives.
• Supervise staff, enforce company policies, and maintain safe working conditions.
• Cross-train employees and maintain good employee relations and safety standards.
