Job summary

XPO Logistics, Inc. is seeking a Forklift Operator to join our dock operations. You will efficiently sort, load, and unload freight, using forklift and pallet jack while maintaining safe handling and accurate shipment scanning.

The role requires adaptability to varying shifts and a focus on safety, accuracy, and productivity in a non-climate controlled dock environment. Training and long-term growth opportunities available.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age.
• Able to perform basic math calculations, with or without a calculator.
• Available to work days, evenings, nights and weekends as freight volumes vary.

Responsibilities

• Efficiently sort, handle, load and unload palletized and non-palletized freight.
• Use motorized and manual equipment, including pallet jack and forklift.
• Secure freight inside trailers using appropriate tools and supplies.
• Work safely and follow company safety policies.
• Use handheld devices to scan and track shipments.
• Work on a dock that may be non-climate controlled for extended periods.
