Job summary

Archdiocese of San Antonio oversees the Guadalupe Home Program and seeks a Parent Support Advisor to supervise pregnant and parenting mothers aged 18+ and their children aged 0-3 in a trauma-informed, safe setting.

The role requires documenting, coordinating with staff, and providing behavior guidance, daily activities, and incident reports while respecting program guidelines and confidentiality.

Qualifications

• Minimum Qualification: High School Diploma or GED required.
• Preferred: experience with families, children, shelters or related support services.
• Must have a clean driving record and proof of insurance to drive agency vehicles.
• Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.

Responsibilities

• Pass TPCN Counselor Certification exam with 80% or better annually as required.
• Properly bill TPCN and/or other agency systems used to residents.
• Maintain knowledge of Guadalupe Home’s Rules & Guidelines.
• Issue write-ups for residents who violate Rules & Guidelines.
• Cover overnight, weekend, and holiday shifts as needed.
• Oversee daily chores and room checks; ensure cleanliness of common areas.
• Document all incidents and maintain logs (written and electronic).
• Engage residents and children daily during activities and leisure time.
• Maintain confidentiality and adhere to agency policies and code of conduct.
