Job summary

Catholic Charities seeks a Parent Support Advisor to supervise pregnant and parenting mothers and their young children at Guadalupe Home. You will set trauma-informed behavioral limits in a safe, caring environment and ensure daily logs are updated and incidents documented per policy.

The role requires flexibility to cover overnight, weekend, and holiday shifts, maintain strong boundaries, and foster positive, culturally competent relationships with residents and staff.

Qualifications

• Pass TPCN Counselor Certification exam with 80%+
• Bill TPCN and agency systems
• Knowledge Guadalupe Home’s Rules & Guidelines
• Clean driving record
• Overnight/weekend/holiday shifts as needed

Responsibilities

• Teach constructive behavior and social skills.
• Teach basic parenting skills.
• Teach life skills and problem solving.
• Oversee daily chores and room checks.
• Update daily logs (written and electronic).
• Assist with social and recreational activities for residents.
• Engage with residents and children daily during activities.
• Document serious incidents completely and timely, per policy.
• Maintain boundaries with residents and staff; be a positive role model.
