Job summary

SHI Europe in Lufkin, TX is seeking a gearbox inspection technician responsible for physical testing, disassembly, and documentation of units. You will help develop Salesforce inspection methodologies and processes, and provide technical analysis for troubleshooting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent with substantial repair/industrial experience.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and manuals.
• Experience with rotating machinery and mechanical assemblies.

Responsibilities

• Disassemble and inspect gear boxes and components, document as received.
• Develop and implement Salesforce inspection processes and methods.
• Provide troubleshooting analysis and repair recommendations to customers.
• Assist with gear box assembly and field service support as needed.
• Maintain inspection records and communicate progress with supervision.
