Job summary

Casa de la Paz, part of LHC Group and UnitedHealth Group, is hiring an Afterhours Registered Nurse to provide comprehensive hospice care to patients and families after regular hours, including nights and weekends, in the Sierra Vista area.

The role focuses on timely triage by phone, initial evaluations, and afterhours visits (admissions, death, recertification, and routine visits). A valid RN license in the state and a reliable vehicle are required; CPR is preferred.

Qualifications

• Current unrestricted RN licensure in the state of practice.
• Valid driver's license and access to a dependable vehicle or public transportation.
• CPR certification preferred or ability to obtain within 90 days.
• 1+ years of clinical experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Triage patient needs over the phone until an in-person nurse visit is available.
• Respond to crisis calls from patients and families after hours with urgency.
