Job summary

The YMCA of Greater Kansas City is seeking a Y Club Site Supervisor to lead before- and after-school programs at a school site. You will plan daily activities, supervise staff, and foster a welcoming, safe space for elementary students to learn and grow.

You'll manage operations, ensure licensing and safety standards, coordinate meal plans and newsletters, and engage families while supporting fundraising goals and community impact.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree or sufficient coursework and a minimum of six months' experience to meet state licensing requirements for Director Approval at the site.
• Ability to obtain Missouri Program Director’s approval for site capacity.
• Minimum of six months' experience in school-age development and programming in before- and after-school programs.
• Strong relationship-building and leadership skills.
• Sensitivity to diverse family, cultural, and socio-economic backgrounds.
• TB Test Risk Assessment and State Health Assessment form within 30 days (in MO).

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a team of youth development associates at your site.
• Ensure each child's safety and well-being by operating the program in a safe, purposeful manner.
• Manage site operations and compliance with YMCA and licensing standards.
• Prepare weekly/monthly activity plans and snack menus meeting established standards.
• Maintain financial records and monitor bi-weekly fee payments and family balances.
• Distribute a professional site newsletter and calendar monthly.
• Organize and meet fundraising goals; recruit at least one parent volunteer.
