Job summary

Woodcraft Rangers is seeking a part-time Early Learning / TK Program Leader in Pomona, CA. The role supports 20 children per club, with hours from 1:00 PM to 5:00/6:00 PM, Monday through Friday.

Join a mission-driven team focused on inclusive, holistic education and positive youth development. Responsibilities include planning engaging activities, monitoring attendance, maintaining safety, and collaborating with the Site Coordinator.

Qualifications

• Availability Monday through Friday, from 1:00 PM to 6:00 PM.
• Experience in expanded learning programs, after-school programs, or youth recreation settings preferred.
• High School Diploma or GED required; an Associate's Degree in Child Development or related field preferred.
• 6 months experience supervising a group of early education aged children.

Responsibilities

• Foster a safe and supportive environment for students, physically and emotionally.
• Promote an inclusive, welcoming culture that values diversity.
• Plan and lead engaging activities supporting whole-child development and social-emotional learning.
• Monitor attendance and participation to ensure consistent engagement.
• Maintain positive relationships with students, families, and staff.
• Collaborate with team to plan events celebrating participant achievements.
• Adhere to safety procedures and required trainings.
