Foundation Communities is seeking a Youth Program Assistant for its Learning Centers NTX in Carrollton, TX. The role involves leading daily after-school activities, helping with homework, and engaging youth in education-centered programs in a predominantly in-person setting with some virtual activities.

The position requires a passion for working with K-5 students, basic computer skills, and the ability to use tools like Google Classrooms and Zoom.

Qualifications

• Eligible to work in the United States and pass a background check.
• Must be at least 18 years old and working toward a high school diploma.
• Experience or ability to work with children in K-5th grade settings.
• Availability Monday through Friday 2:30–6:15 PM, with start time flexible to school schedule.

Responsibilities

• Lead activities such as arts, STEM/STEAM, reading, and fitness in-person or online.
• Prepare lessons and supplies for daily program activities.
• Assist children with homework and academic enrichment.
• Maintain a clean, organized classroom and supervise participants.
• Promote an inclusive, respectful environment and serve as a positive role model.
• Follow safety guidelines and CDC recommendations.
