Job summary

Bgcnt seeks a Hallway Monitor for an after-school program in New York. The role supports, implements, and monitors activities for assigned groups of children, ensuring safety and engagement from 3:00pm to 5:30pm, Monday through Friday.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in a college/university or at least 1 year in a related field.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, child-focused environment.
• Proven reliability and strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Support, implement, and monitor Clubhouse/Unit programs with assigned group.
• Interact daily with children and ensure group safety at all times.
• Develop action plans with supervisors to meet needs of children.
• Provide positive behavior management and mentor as a role model.
• Maintain cleanliness of program spaces and participate in meetings.
• Assist with activities, feedback collection, and program evaluations.
