The role works under the supervision of the Afterschool Program Coordinator and involves building connections and assisting with activities. The position requires a minimum of 18 years old, 6 months of experience in school-age programs, reliable transportation, and up-to-date immunizations.

• CPR/First Aid certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Build meaningful connections with youth.
• Assist in age-appropriate activities as directed.
• Participate in staff trainings and events.

• Assist with Youth Program events.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

• Create and cultivate meaningful connections with young individuals.
• Assist in carrying out age-appropriate activities as directed by the Program Coordinator, Club Teacher, and Mentor.
• Participate in yearly staff training sessions, staff gatherings, and other assignments.
• Support children in excelling within inclusive programs.
• Perform other reasonable tasks as assigned by the Program Coordinator.
• Attend and assist with Youth Program events.

Requirements

• At least 18 years old.
• 6 months of experience in school age programs or comparable experience.
• Reliable transportation to and from work.
• This position requires up to date physical and immunization records.
• CPR and/or First Aid Certification, preferred.
