Job summary

Boys & Girls Clubs of Utah County & Southern Utah is seeking Youth Development Professionals to empower children at Mountain Trails Elementary. If you love working with kids and fostering social-emotional growth, this is the perfect opportunity for you.

Position is part-time (15–22 hours/week), with after-school hours Monday–Thursday, 2:00 PM–6:00 PM. November 2026 through May 21, 2027, with potential summer opportunities.

Qualifications

• Experience working with youth (ages 5–18) in educational, recreational, or team settings preferred.
• Reliable team player with positive, professional attitude and strong communication.
• Willingness to actively participate in weekly, monthly, and quarterly paid training and professional development.
• Ability to actively supervise children and lift 25–50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Mentor & Engage: Build positive, supportive relationships with youth through active engagement.
• Lead the Fun: Facilitate games, recreational activities, and enrichment programs indoors and outdoors.
• Support Growth: Help children develop social and emotional intelligence through positive communication, empathy, and conflict resolution.
• Maintain Safety: Provide active supervision to ensure a safe space for all participants.
