Job summary

Boys & Girls Clubs of Utah County is seeking energetic and dependable Youth Development Professionals to join our afterschool team in Heber. As a YDP, you will help youth learn, grow, and thrive in a safe, supportive environment after school.

This part-time role offers roughly 20–25 hours per week with afternoon hours, pay of $18 per hour, and opportunities during the school year (Oct 2026–May 2027) and summer areas.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older with a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience working with youth ages 5–18 preferred.
• Positive, energetic, and reliable team player.
• Willing to lead and participate in activities with youth.
• Familiarity with Google Workspace is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Build positive relationships with youth through mentorship.
• Create a safe, inclusive environment for all participants.
• Lead games, sports, and enrichment activities.
• Facilitate engaging lessons and group activities.
• Support social-emotional growth and development.
• Assist with attendance, surveys, and program documentation.
• Collaborate with staff to ensure a high-quality program.
