Job summary

The Boys & Girls Clubs of Utah County and Southern Utah is seeking Youth Development Professionals to empower children at Mountain Trails Elementary. If you love working with kids and fostering social-emotional growth, this is the perfect opportunity for you.

Part-Time position with an estimated 15-22 hours/week, Monday-Thursday 2:00 PM - 6:00 PM. Commitment runs November 2026 through May 21, 2027, with summer program opportunities available.

Qualifications

• Experience working with youth (ages 5-18) in educational, recreational, or team settings.
• Reliable team player with a positive, professional attitude and strong communication skills.
• Willingness to participate in weekly, monthly, and quarterly paid training and professional development.
• Ability to actively supervise children and lift 25-50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Mentor & Engage: Build positive, supportive relationships with youth through active engagement.
• Lead the Fun: Facilitate games, recreational activities, and enrichment programs indoors and outdoors.
• Support Growth: Help children develop social and emotional intelligence through positive communication.
• Maintain Safety: Provide active supervision to ensure a safe space for all participants.

The Details:

• Pay: $15.00 - $18.00 per hour

• Location:Mountain Trails Elementary

• Schedule: Part-Time (Estimated 15-22 hours/week). Monday-Thursday (Approx. 2:00 PM - 6:00 PM).

• Commitment: November 2026 - May 21, 2027 (Summer program opportunities available!)

What You Will Do:

• Mentor & Engage: Build positive, supportive relationships with youth through active engagement.
