Job summary

Mentoring Alliance seeks ministry-minded individuals to join our After School team as an Afternoon Child Care Worker. The role leads elementary students in enrichment activities and promotes youth development in an after-school setting.

This part-time, non-exempt position averages 17–20 hours per week, Monday through Friday from 2:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m., with a focus on excellence, wholeheartedness, and serving kids and families in the community.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 17 years old.
• HS diploma or GED preferred.
• Passionate about working with elementary children.
• CPR/First Aid certification mandatory.
• Background/Sex offender check required.
• Valid driver’s license or ID required.
• US work authorization.

Responsibilities

• Lead enrichment activities for elementary students.
• Support youth development in after-school setting.
• Provide a safe, caring, and faith-based environment.
