Job summary

Wakeman Boys & Girls Club in Bridgeport, CT is seeking part-time staff to assist with the After School and Out of School Programs for elementary and middle school youth. You will help supervise activities, ensure safety, and support youth with homework and recreation, reporting to the ASP Coordinator.

Ideal candidates are at least 18 for adult roles or 16 for minor positions, with strong communication and group leadership skills. Proficiency in Google Classroom and basic Microsoft Office helps.

Qualifications

• Minimum 18 years old for Adult Staff
• Minimum 16 years old for Minor Staff
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
• Group leadership skills and ability to manage youth
• Proficient with Microsoft and Google programs including Google Classroom
• Ability to multi-task and work under pressure with youth
• Ability to pass a background check
• Organized, reliable, hard-working with strong morals
• Able to work in an environment with youth
