Job summary

The Mentoring Alliance is seeking an After School Group Leader to foster youth development by guiding elementary students in enrichment activities after school. This part-time role (17-20 hours/week) emphasizes a Christ-centered approach and acts as a role model in the community.

You will work Monday through Friday from 2:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m., helping with activities, supervising students, and upholding the organization’s faith-based mission while encouraging growth and development.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 17 years old; High School Diploma or G.E.D. preferred and some post-secondary training highly preferred
• Have a passion and love for working with elementary school-aged children
• Ability to earn CPR/First Aid certification (mandatory)
• Pass Mandatory Background/Sex offender check
• Legally allowed to work in the United States
• Spanish-speaking ability greatly valued

• Lead enrichment activities and supervise elementary students after school
• Support youth development within a Christian ministry context
• Serve as a positive role model and uphold mission and faith statements
