Job summary

Mentoring Alliance seeks an After School Group Leader to foster youth development by guiding elementary students in enrichment activities. This part-time, non-exempt role averages 17–20 hours per week and emphasizes being a minister of the Gospel within a Christian ministry.

Responsibilities include supervising activities, ensuring safety, and promoting a caring, faith-centered environment for kids after school, Monday through Friday, with emphasis on dependability and community impact.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 17 years old.
• High School Diploma or GED preferred; some post-secondary training preferred.
• Passion and love for working with elementary school-aged children.
• Spanish-speaking ability valued.

Responsibilities

• Lead elementary students in enrichment activities.
• Support after-school program operations Mon-Fri 2:00 p.m.–6:00 p.m. during the school calendar year.
• Model positive, faith-based conduct and mentorship.
• Ensure safety and supervise student interactions and behavior.
