Job summary

The Mentoring Alliance is seeking ministry-minded individuals to join our After School team as Child Care Workers. This part-time, non-exempt role leads elementary students in enrichment activities, fostering youth development with a focus on excellence and wholehearted service. Typical hours are 2:00 p.m.

to 6:00 p.m., Monday through Friday during the school calendar year. We value staff who share our mission as a Gospel-centered ministry and who can earn CPR/First Aid certification while

Qualifications

• Must be at least 17 years of age and prefer HS diploma or GED
• Experience with elementary school-aged children is preferred
• Certified in CPR/First Aid (mandatory)
• Pass background/Sex offender check
• Valid driver’s license or valid ID
• Legally allowed to work in the United States
• Spanish-speaking ability greatly valued

Responsibilities

• Lead elementary students in enrichment activities to foster youth development
• Support after-school program operations during 2:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m. on weekdays
• Exemplify Mentoring Alliance faith-based values and Gospel ministry
• Collaborate with staff to provide a safe, engaging environment
• Assess and support children to reach their full potential
