Job summary

BOYS AND GIRLS CLUBS OF THE NORTH VALLEY in Paradise seeks a Youth Development Professional to support Transitional Kindergarten and Kindergarten students after school. The role emphasizes safety and supervision, implementing the Club’s five core program areas, and fostering a positive, engaging environment.

The position is part-time, Monday through Friday during the school year (1:30–6:30 PM). Requires First Aid/CPR, background checks, and county assessment; benefits include paid sick time, EAP

Qualifications

• Requires First Aid & CPR certification.
• Complete FBI/DOJ Live Scan and background check.
• County Assessment met (proof of 48 college units, degree or County Assessment certificate).

Responsibilities

• Supervise and develop programs for Club members.
• Maintain safety, security and appearance of the Club.
• Document program participation and grant-related records.
• Coordinate spontaneous recreational activities and planned academic enrichment.
• Provide quality customer service and communicate with parents.
